The DSP contains an universal attenuator that can be connected to any signal (e.g. for
side-tone gain in ISDN applications).

In addition to the universal attenuator with programmable but fixed gain the DSP
contains an amplifier with automatic gain control (AGC). The AGC is preceded by a
signal summation point for two input signals. One of the input signals can be attenuated.

The operation of the AGC is similar to AGCX (ACCR) of the speakerphone. The
differences are as follows:
• No NOIS parameter
• Separate enable/disable control
• Slightly different coefficient format
