Additionally to idle mode, sleep mode and power down mode of the CPU, each
peripheral can get its clock disabled. This has two advantages. First this feature can be
used in order to save power. Second, in case of a break from the on-chip debug support,
it can be decided whether a peripheral stops or keeps on running.
