Register Descriptions
The registers/parameters which control flash memory are shown as follows. To access registers
other than RAMER that control flash memory, set the FLSHE bit in SYSCR2 to 1 in mode which
makes flash memory valid. When FLSHE is 1, some TPU control registers (H'FFFE80 to
H'FFFEB1) cannot be accessed. The FLSHE bit should be cleared before the TPU registers are
accessed.

There are several operating modes for accessing flash memory, for example, read mode/program
mode.
There are two memory MATs: user MAT and user boot MAT. The dedicated registers/parameters
are allocated for each operating mode and MAT selection. The correspondence of operating modes
and registers/parameters for use is shown in table 20.4.
