Normal Mode
Window Mode
Normal Mode Output
Normal Mode Interrupt
Normal Mode Peripheral Events
Zero or one event will be generated per comparison.
In normal mode all Analog Comparators are operating independently.
Each Analog Comparator generates one output ACOUT according to the input voltages on INP
(AC positive input) and INN (AC negative input):
The output can optionally be filtered, as described in
The AC channels can generate interrupts. The Interrupt Settings field in the Configuration Regis-
ter (CONFn.IS) can be configured to select when the AC will generate an interrupt:
The ACIFB can generate peripheral events according to the configuration of CONFn.EVENN
and CONFn.EVENP.
In window mode, two ACs (an even and the following odd build up a pair) are grouped.
The negative input of ACn (even) and the positive input of ACn+1 (odd) has to be connected
together externally to the device and are controlled by the Input Select fields in the AC Configu-
ration Registers (CONFn.INSELN and CONFn+1.INSELP). The positive input of ACn (even) and
the negative input of ACn+1 (odd) can still be configured independently by CONFn.INSELP and
CONFn+1.INSELN, respectively.
• ACOUT = 1 if V
• ACOUT = 0 if V
• ACOUT = 0 if the AC output is not available (SR.ACRDY = 0)
• When V
• When V
• On toggle of the AC output (ACOUT)
