Conditional Self-Refresh
The Mobile Intel 945GM/GME/PM/GMS/GU/GSE, 943/940GML and Intel 945GT Express
Chipsets support a conditional self-refresh entry in the C3 and C4 states, based on the
graphics/display (if internal graphics is being used) and (optionally) on the state of the
PCI Express links.
The dependency on PCI Express link state is configurable, but the target behavior is to
enter self-refresh for C3/C4 as long as there as no memory requests to service.
Though the dependencies on this behavior are configurable, the target usage is shown
in the table below.
