Debug enable. When asserted, asserting DBR, system reset, internal (including single
step) or external breakpoints, halt instruction, MISC miscompare, or an illegal instruction
cause the processor to halt and enter debug mode
such as single stepping and breakpoints and does not affect watchpoint, program trace, or
data trace operations.

Debug request. Forces the eTPU to enter debug mode when DBE is set. Will cause a
breakpoint after execution of the current microinstruction.
0 Exit debug mode if there are no pending breakpoints.
1 Request debug mode.
Reserved, should be cleared.
Single step enable. If asserted, single step ocdcurs when the internal breakpoint conditions
are cleared (by setting CBR or clearing DBR) regardless of the external breakpoint signal.
A single step is also performed if the SS bit is set and the engine is in debug mode due to
an external breakpoint.

An Illegal instruction causes a breakpoint before the execution of the current
microinstruction. A MISC breakpoint causes a breakpoint after the execution of the
current microinstruction.
The eTPU will resume operation if this bit is cleared while it was in a breakpoint.
The HALT instruction within eTPU is ignored if DBE is cleared.
